I was reading this verse in John this morning and I was reminded of something I once heard in a teaching video. I do not remember who it was, but they were comparing and proving Christianity over being a Muslim. One thing that the speaker pointed out, was that this debate was not for the liberal believer. This was for the people that believed and trusted totally in the religion. (side note: Christianity is not a religion, it is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that we share with others). People that took the words of the Bible or Koran as truth and did not look for a way out of things. Later in the decision it was clear to anyone that had a soft heart and did not doubt that Jesus is lord. But my point is this scripture: John 4:21-24 "Jesus declared, "Believe me, woman, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth." We must worship Him in TRUTH and SPIRIT.
